Welcome to Macromedia Director 4.0! 

  The directions on your monitor will tell you how to install
  the latest version of Director. 
	   
  After Director is installed successfully, a directory will
  exist containing Video for Windows files. Before Video for
  Windows will operate properly, you must install it by going
  to that directory and running the SETUP.EXE file.
	   
  After installing Director and restarting Windows, double-
  clicking on a file that has a .DIR extension will invoke 
  Director.
	   
  The first time you run Director, you will be asked for a 
  serial number, which is on your registration card.  Take 
  time to fill out your registration card so you can get 
  updates and information in the future.
